Standing true to its name, Hope Foundation provides underprivileged children living in challenging circumstances with educational support, healthcare benefits, residential care, and protection, helping them to lead a better quality of life. The Hope Foundation in Kolkata is the implementation arm of (HOPE) The Hope Foundation, an Irish charity with headquarters in Germany, the UK, and the USA.
To bring a smile on the children’s face, two of our directors from India, along with their tenured employees, actively participated in a well executed donation drive. Adhering to our CSR policy, our team was there to support Hope Foundation, but not just for ticking boxes and writing checks. We were there to build a lasting relationship that serves as a reminder that we are all interconnected and that together we have the power to create a better, brighter, and more compassionate world. Leading with empathy and acting with compassion, our beloved directors, Rajiv Bajaj and Pavitra Mundhra, donated rugs and food packets to the children at Hope Foundation. They also bought a host of handmade items made by the children to nurture their sense of self-worth and belonging.
Our commitment to the Hope Foundation goes beyond short-term assistance. A similar drive was conducted by one of our directors in Ireland, Dylan Holland, who visited the Hope headquarters in Cork and donated rugs. Moreover, Dylan, being a kind-hearted gentleman, has taken up the onus of sponsoring the education of one girl child for an entire year.

There kind and encouraging words definitely give a boost to our thoughts of coming up with newer initiatives for such organisations that intend to make life better for the underprivileged.
Furthermore, our CSR initiative does not end here; it’s just the beginning of a new chapter for Hope Foundation. Our directors in India have plans to sponsor school stationery like books, notebooks, socks, shoes, school bags, and costume jewellery for the girls under the care of the Hope Foundation. We are here to make a difference in a world that feels disconnected and divided. Team Rugshop is extending its hands and hearts and is in talks with Hope Foundation about offering educational opportunities, nurturing care, and moments of joy to leave a legacy of kindness that will endure for generations.
